An update on the Smyth Public Library, photos included
Posted on Tuesday, March 22, 2022
Dean Young has spearheaded reconstruction of the Smyth Public Library. He has meticulously removed woodwork and replaced with passion and pride. By doing that he saved $100,000 in reconstruction cost. He reported that all we are waiting for is floors. As soon as they are installed, shelving can start to be installed. All the books that didn’t get damaged are in dry storage. View the Photo History Gallery of the project. Photos were taken the Monday after the library was damaged to present day.
