PRESS RELEASE from Candia Police Department

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 1, 2024 - The Candia Police Department is alerting our residents about a recent mailing about “Defunding and Defaming the Police” circulating in the area, claiming to be affiliated with the Candia Police Department. The “Citizens Behind the Badge” group is allegedly sending out Permission Form & Donation Reply requests to our residents. The Candia Police Department does not have an affiliation with the group and does not solicit donations.
